I had this painting from last year and when I was done painting it, I was not satisfied with it. The composition was choppy. I brought it home from the gallery and it sat in my studio for quite some time.
It is now a new painting and I feel a better one.
Here is the former one below.
In the bottom painting, the colors are brighter, i like them that way. I suppose it's how the photo turned out, and wonder what the real painting is like.

I am still not done this painting. I think the composition is stronger in the re-made painting but the former paintng the colours are nice. Watch for my next post - my show is coming up:)
