This painting is new off my easel in the last few days. I painted it to spread some warmth and light into our dark world:) It starts getting light at around 10:30 am and the sun sometimes makes a brief appearance as it crests the hills across the Magundy River and then winks:) and descends.
The Winter Solstice is not far off and then we start going the other way.
Acrylic on Wood Cradled Panel, 22x34 inches
