SUNSET YUKON RIVER

Title:  Sunset Yukon River
Medium:  Watercolour
Size: 8x10
SOLD

There was glass on the painting when I took the photo so you can see it.
I really do love sunsets and anybody that knows me would know just how many
I have painted.  I moved my studio from Magundy back to my basement in town.
Unfortunately the weather has not really cooperated with my outdoor
studio this summer.  But one thing that I have done is get lots of pictures of
mushrooms for reference material this winter.

  1. This reminds me very much of the picture you gave me after my first Crane & Sheep Festival - I love how warm it feels! (Just what we need during a dreary summer ^_^)

  2. I so forgot about that Erica - I have to admit that when I'm in a mood to just express myself and feel good- this sunset comes out. It's like playing your favourite song on the guitar. I used to feel guilty about it but not anymore. Monet painted many variations of water Lilies and Cezanne his mountain. Me - my reverie in sunsets !
We will have to have lunch one day soon.

  3. I don't think you need to feel any guilt about it, either. I use the same quilt patterns over and over, and discover something new about them each time I change the colour scheme and fabric.

Yes, we should definitely have lunch sometime ^_^
